If someone could send me a copy of the blogger code of ethics I'd much appreciate it.

Yesterday bumrock posted a great song, Spooks in space by the Aural Exciters. Plus the 365 days project had this little gem of a conversation between some music Groupies. Here's a nice sword shwing and the old 123. 'Til I can figure how to host my own music collection pretty much all rhetoricpig offers is 'borrowed' to one degree or another.

Hi dm,

Not sure if there are any ethics as such, but the basic thing amongst mp3 Bloggers is to put links to the blogs themselves - or even the story (you can use trackback to do this if they use it), rather than link the actual mp3/wav file. Exceptions are made for commercial sites, although it is always polite to provide a link to the site as well - especially if they are a record label.

If you want to post your own music you need some webspace. Shop around, sign up and they will let you upload music files to your space that you can then link in your blog.

You don't need a domain name unless you want to change your blog address and/or have something else you want to put on the net. Webspace isn't that expensive, superb.net is $5 a month, I'm currently using racknine, but I'm going to switch because I help run 3 mp3blogs, and the bandwidth allowance is too small (15Gb a month).

Good luck, oh and welcome.
